The School of Computing and Information Sciences (SCIS) just closed its fourth Week of Welcome (WOW) with a grand bash party on Friday 8/31/18. This year, Ms. Ruth Suarez a Senior Advisor and her team led a successful event where students, staff, administrators, and faculty participated in a week-long, fun-filled fest of activities, games, and workshops.
With a community building focus in mind, the goals of this event are to increase student-faculty interaction and student morale all while helping students become familiar with the SCIS resources. Among the highlights of this week-long event was the Student Organization Fair where new and all students learn about various organizations related to their major or interest.
