Students and professors of the Faculty of Engineering participated in the development at the Coliseum Competence at the University of the Coast. A day filled of socialization of study opportunities and scholarships for postgraduate studies at FIU. The talk was led by Carlos Cabrera, Program Coordinator, Graduate Programs Florida International University, who told the audience what are the eligibility requirements for scholarships at that institution of higher education. Cabrera, along with Tao Li, Professor & Graduate Program Director of the FIU, chaired several meetings with directors of programs assigned Engineering Faculty, in which joint cooperation activities to be carried out between the two universities were defined, among which are: options for undergraduate and graduate scholarships, internships in research and double degree programs.
Carlos Cabrera, Mais Kayyali, Mercedes Rueda, Fairuz Ospino, and Dr. Mario Maury, Director of Graduate Studies of the CUC; and the directors of the various programs of Engineering Institution were all present for the collaborative academic agreement signing ceremony.
