The US Department of Transportation has announced the funding of its new National Center for Transportation Cybersecurity and Resiliency (TraCR). This award, made under the USDOT’s University Transportation Center (UTC) program, is expected to total $4 million per year for five years and will be led by Clemson University. FIU’s portion is expected to total $300,000 per year for five years and will be led by KFSCIS’s Mohammadhadi Amini with Co-PIs Kemal Akkaya, Farhad Shirani, and Selcuk Uluagac.
Other Center partners include Benedict College, Morgan State University, Purdue University, South Carolina State University, the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa, the University of California at Santa Cruz, and the University of Texas at Dallas.
