SCIS is honored to announce that Dr. S. S. Iyengar, Ryder Professor & Director, has been selected by the Engineers Council Honors and Awards Committee, representing engineering societies from across the United States, to receive the “Distinguished Engineering Educator Award.” This prestigious award will be presented to Dr. Iyengar at the National Engineers Week Honors and Awards Banquet at the Palm Beach Convention Center on February 22, 2018.
The Engineer’s Counsel, founded in 1955 represents more than 50 engineering organizations throughout the United States. It is a nonprofit corporation organized by engineers to further the growth of engineering and to distribute its benefits. The event recognizes the best engineers and computer scientists from across to the United States each year during its annual awards banquet. This year, the event is hosted by the Palm Beach County National Engineers and the Palm Beach County Business Development Board.
