Dr. Bhargav Bhatkalkar is a Senior IEEE member and a faculty member in Computer Science and Engineering, with over 15 years of university-level teaching experience, complemented by industry expertise as a Software Developer. His research focuses on the application of Deep Learning techniques to Medical Image Processing, Computer-Aided Diagnosis, and Network/Data Security. Dr. Bhargav earned his Ph.D. from the Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India, in 2020, where his research centered on Medical Image Processing and Computer-Aided Diagnosis. He has published his work in several peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. Additionally, he actively contributes to the academic community as a reviewer for reputed journals. Before joining Florida International University, Dr. Bhargav was a faculty member at Digipen Institute of Technology, Singapore. He is also a lifetime Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers, India.
