New CSTA Miami Chapter

A new regional chapter of the Computer Science Teachers Association will form soon in Miami. Local CS teachers gathered on February 28th and March 21st to meet each other personally, and to establish long-term goals for the Miami chapter. At the meetings, participants also discussed about the regional barriers to CS Education. The next meeting is scheduled for April 4th at 6pm in CIC Miami, when the leadership team (president, vice president, secretary and treasurer) will be elected. FIU acts as the local chapter’s university partner.
