Harrison Perez, a junior at Florida International University (FIU) majoring in computer science and economics, has secured an internship as a Software Engineer at World Kinect Corporation. Growing up in Miami, Perez has witnessed FIU’s growth, including its ranking as 29th in the nation by The Wall Street Journal. He attributes his success to FIU’s Tech Talent Academy (TTA), which provided networking skills, career workshops, and experience with open-source software. Perez’s journey showcases FIU’s supportive environment.
